The Sunday of Lent, (or Quadragesima), also known as dimanche des "Brandons", the "Escouvillons" or the "Feûreû" : a type of bundle of straw sticks that were used to hit the fruit trees in order to make them fertile. This is the most important Great Fire of Belgium. The ceremony ends with fireworks.
