IRISPORT - SPORT FESTIVAL

For this third consecutive festival, the association Brussels Irispot organises initiation and demonstration days to sport. On the site of the Heysel, visitors will have the opportunity to get familiar with 45 sports disciplines that can be practiced in the Brussels Region. They will be able to follow demonstrations and to do archery, fencing, scuba diving, to play basketball, hockey, rugby, to go climbing, etc.

Tia Hellebaut will attend on Saturday the launch of the Ekiden that will take place in the King Baudouin sports stadium. Other athletes from the Olympics will also join in. The day will conclude with the first edition of the Belgian Super Cup of Rugby in which the Kituro will confront against the ASUB. The match will start at 5.00 pm. Admission is free of charge.

On Sunday, a second-hand market of sports material will be organized. Booking is compulsory via the website www.irisport.be.

1000 first visitors will receive a free breakfast.
