LAETARE CARNIVAL

Over a period of 25 years, the carnival of Chapelle has earned the most enviable reputation which reaches far over the borders of the region. Every year it attracts ten thousands of people who want to throw themselves in this very particular atmosphere. It is its showcase because it offers an image of traditions, patrimony and novelties of the community. During these couple of days everyone can get to know and appreciate the tradition. The fireworks of Chapelle have always been a great success. The Monday of the Laetare, the fireworks makers bring an exceptional pyrotechnic show. This apotheosis which is called "Prestige des Tchats", is admired by thousands of spectators. At this moment it is renowned over the whole country.
