Every year in July, the Tourism House of Hesbaye-Meuse organises a festive weekend. Each time another theme is chosen; this year you will be able to discover all about comic strips and the regional heritage and related activities. At the side of the castle with its 12th century turrets, the castle farm still shows its original mediaeval architectural framework: vaulted rooms with crossed ribbs, slaughter-houses, gatehouses, all in perfect conditions. An historical explanation of the evolution of the site of the farm-castle is offered on both days at 2.30 pm.

You will also find a range of mediaeval tools, still in use nowadays, in the Gourmet Museum. You can either admire the architecture and tools or purchase gifts from the shop: in any case it is definitely worth the detour! Should you feel a little peckish, browse through the tavern's menu for both typical dishes and mediaeval tastes with strange names: Hypocras, apple soup, Saulge sausage, lemon or honey pancakes, etc.

A true haven for lovers of history and knowledge
