NIGHT WALK ON THE HILLSIDES OF THE CITADEL

Magic walk through the alleys, squares, stairs, terraces, gardens, paths, clams and orchards...on the hillsides on the border of the historic heart of the city. The Night Walk on the Hills of the Citadel, an international event, has become the big light celebration of the region, in the setting of a new concept : Liège Light City. More than 12,000 candles, torches, flootlights, fairy lights are lighted along the trail from 7.30 pm on. Along the walks there is a lot of music and theatre entertainment. Many buildings are accessible just for this occassion.

This event always takes place on the first Saturday of October.

Schedule:
- 7.30 pm to 11 pm: walks, illuminations, music, ... on the site.
- 11.30 pm: fireworks in the Saint-Léonard park
- midnight: closing concert, Cour des Mineurs.
