NEMO33 does not look like any other building in the south of the European city Brussels. If you enter NEMO33 you will be surprised by the great vegetation: tropical plants. Here you can find a place where you can get away from your everyday life. Once you have entered the building you will be pleasantly surprised. Divers are swimming behind portholes and there is no smell of chlorine. Above all the water is warm and does not contain any chemicals. Thanks to our automated filtering system, the water is always clean, warm and contains only few minerals. This makes it beneficial for your skin and... the water is also drinkable. Both architect Sebastian MORENO-VACCA and engineer John BEERNAERTS have definitely achieved a great success.

Nemo 33 is a pool with 2,500,000 litres of spring water at 30°C, visibility >33m, without chlorine smell, 2 pools, 2 pits (5, 10 and 33 m); caves at -10m (possibility of fixing of new decorations); three permanent belles of air under pressure (-9m, -7m, air renewed permanently); 250 anchoring points in the tank to: change the aspect of the swimming pool (for the amateurs), adapt it for film shooting, adapt it for scientists and technicians; heated changing rooms, separated man-woman, separate showers, separate toilets.
