Children might be future adults, but their parents are often big children. They can learn and exchange as much the other. Some ten museum combine interest, entertainment and astonishment. They are located in the city centre, at the Cinquantenaire, in Woluwe and Tervuren and can be easily reached by bus or tram. Thanks to the "day tickets" these rides are even cheaper.
Young and old can spend many hours together, not only in museum rooms or galleries, but also outside because all museums are located in proximity or even in the middle of a beautiful park.

AUTOWORLD BRUSSELS : INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOBILE CENTRE (BRUXELLES) © OPT / JP Remy Autoworld, the most impressive collection of oldtimers in the world, which oficially opened its doors at the Palais Mondial in October 1986, situated in a very beautiful and luxurious building, which invites you to stroll through the history of the automobile from 1886 until the seventies. The majority of oldtimers belong to the Mahy collection of Ghent, the most important in the world (950 vehicles). Superb exhibits, selected from the De Pauw collection complete the exhibition. BRUSSELS TRAM MUSEUM (BRUSSELS PUBLIC TRANSPORT MUSEUM) (WOLUWE-SAINT-PIERRE) © Trammuseumbrussels Ancient tramway depot (19th c.). Since 1982, volunteers have run this living museum which concentrates mainly on the history of public transport in Brussels. The museum houses a collection of more than 60 vehicules dating from 1868 to today.
