Inaugauration of the African savannah in spring 2012
Eight acres will be entirely dedicated to Africa. In a great savannah landscape, small and big animals from Africa will be joining the other 5,000 who already happily inhabit the park.

At the end of June 2012, Pairi Daiza will be opening a restaurant and launching its own beer
Pairi Daiza has built its brand new restaurant on the ruins of the ancient abbey that once stood on the spot and has resuscitated its legendary beer.

In Pairi Daiza you'll be living an unforgettable day with wild animals, each more fascinating than the other.

Stretch your neck out to giraffes, hippos, zebras, elephants, sea-lions, penguins, lemurs, monkeys, otters and multicoloured birds. Don't miss the extraordinary show with birds-of-prey.

Gaze at the giant Nautilus aquariums. See if you can find the queen of flowers in the Rose garden and wade through the Andalusian garden redolent with scents of the South of Spain.

Stride through Han Wu Di's Dream garden, the biggest Chinese enclosure in Europe. Don't miss Ganesha's Indonesian garden, measuring close to 4 acres.

Before you leave

The park is open every day from 10am to 6pm. And in July and August until 7pm.
The following areas close at 5.30pm: Nautilus, Nosy Komba, Tropicalia, Madidi and Mersus Emergo.
