The city of Chimay is located at the edge of the Hautes Fagnes and the Thiérache and is known for its castle on the rock overhanging the Eau Blanche, the Grand-Place and the collegiate church with its bulbous clock tower. You can discover the history of this princely city with a city guide or on board of a tourist train.
For the nature lovers there are numerous way-marked trails through the forest or across the country.
And don't forget the Abbey Notre-Dame de Scourmont near the Oise sources with its famous trappist.
In Chimay, you can also find regional specialties, festivals, flea markets and markets.
