The "maillon vert" is a walk of 2.2 km up to the Aquascope of Virelles, through an English landscape, alongside the valley of the Eau Blanche, in the park of the Castle of the Princes of Chimay. During the Renaissance, the park also had "French-style" plots. Today various kinds of flowers and medicinal plants constitute a unique botanical garden. Some rare species such as the "Tulipa Silvestris", a yellow spring tulip, still subsist.

Free trail in the park, on foot (dogs on a leash) or by bike.
Guided visit of the park on other days by reservation (min. 10 pers., € 3,-/pers., duration 1h30).

Access by the metal gate under the castle's ramparts or by the Porte de Virelles.

Reservations should be made 3 workdays prior to the chosen date. In case of cancellation, or modification of the number of participants, less than 3 workdays prior to this day, the amount of the reservation will be billed.
