Built in 1051 by the Prince Bishop of Liège, the citadel stands proudly on the ridge of the city and offers a staggering view on the river Meuse that runs alongside it. As well as the Arms Museum there are several interesting objects and panels to recount the glorious past of this Meuse town.

in January: only during weekends and school holidays
Visits in French, Dutch, English and German. Duration 45 min.
Low season: free visit (guide by reservation)
High season: departure of the guides every 20 minutes
Times: From 10 am to 6 pm during the high season. From 10 am to 5 pm during the low season
