PARK OF AMEE
- Address:
Rue de la Poudrière
5100 JAMBES (NAMUR) - MAPS: Google Maps
- Opening Dates
The park was created in 1952 after the plans of architect José Ledoux. It consists of nice indigenous and exotic trees, one of which a large blue cedar. For a long time, the park was a valuable horticultural area. The river's alluvial deposits made the ground very fertile. These days, the Meuse banks, the marina, the beach of Amée and the playgrounds form a nice area for walks.
