Ecological tours presenting the various species of indigenous trees. La Serna is a domain of 16 ha which is maintained semi-wild with 3 lakes. Monceau Castle possesses nobility letters thanks to the visit of Louis XIV at the end of the Dutch wars. Designed by an architect from Versailles, the large park surrounding the chateau is one of the great natural beauties of the Charleroi area. Although it has lost its fine layout it remains one of the loveliest English style parks in the country, with magnificent trees including the seven superb ashes at the entrance, three Virginia tulip trees, a male dogwood, a pinus sylvestris and American oaks.
