The site of Bois-Seigneur-Isaac, consisting of the château and its grounds as well as the priory and the Chapel of the Holy Blood, (annual pilgrimage the Monday of the Pentecost) is one of the most captivating places in the region. The abbey has been a foundation of the Premonstratensian order since 1903, while the Chapel of the Holy Blood, dating from the end of the 16th c., boasts notably rich ornamentation, such as its Louis XV choir stalls and confessionals. The original 15th c., Gothic-arched sacristy is the chapel's crowning glory. Inside it is a magnificent reliquary housing a Eucharistic cloth impregnated with holy blood. Monastic order: Premonstratensian.
