The very first striking building by Victor Horta and a major part of Brussels' architectural heritage. It was built in 1893 and represents an essential stage in the evolution of the most important Belgian architect. This building was restored which helps us to better understand the origin of the Art Nouveau. Schuiten and Peeters who were responsible for the interior design and the house has become a tribute to Brussels' private architecture with a touch of imagination at the same time.
