Here one can discover the evolution of the technique of linen whitening, from its beginnings to now, as well as exhibits of the first washing machines.
Working conditions of laundresses and housewifes.
Evolution of soap and other laundry washing products, public wash houses and the ironing of laundry.
Animations for children.
Open every Sunday from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Every Saturday & Sunday from March to October: from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Easter and summer holidays: everyday from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Group visits (minimum 10 persons): every day from 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 6 pm, on request (tel: +32 (0)87/77 14 18).
