LES CAILLEBOTIS DES HAUTES FAGNES DE BOTRANGE

The 'caillebotis', hiking trails in the woods, are typical of the Hautes Fagnes. Take the big lane to the terrace where you have the most beautiful view over the fagnes. Then take the road on your right. It will take you to the edge of the forest, right next to the fagnes. Follow the fagnes and turn left. The first part will take you to the 'caillebotis'. Then the road will again get wider and you will cross the fagnes. When you get to the other side, again turn left. On your right you will find a forest, and on your left the fagnes. Take the little path until you get to the little bridge over the Halle. Turn left once more. The first part is somewhat uneven and may be muddy. Then continue by the paths through the forest until you reach the terrace.
